By all means I'm not trying to compare myself to the wonderful pioneers who were so righteous, and courageous but I am getting a small glimpse on how it must of felt to leave so much behind to to embark on something extremely new to them.
Last Saturday we had a HUGE Garage Sale. I had to sell so much of my stuff not because I wanted to get rid of it but because we are going to have to down size to our next place and we can't haul all of this stuff cross country. I was so sad to see things go especially the items that I was only selling cause it's not a necessity. I sold things that I have had since Jon and I first got married and It was such great shape but I had to say goodbye. On the other hand selling all this other extra junk was so therapeutic. I think I am a big pack rat. I keep things thinking ONE DAY I WILL USE IT" I had a box of Interior Design Materials that I just threw away and ask myself "Why the heck I had this for over 5 years I don't know."
CHANGE IS GOOD
I ACTUALLY LOVE CHANGE
Why?
Cause I get to Design a NEW HOME
Meet NEW FRIENDS
NEW PLACES to see
NEW ADVENTURES
NEW SHOPS
NEW CULTURES
and
I get to learn so much stuff along the way!
and I feel good cause I have my FAMILY & THE CHURCH
I have already spoke to the Branch President and his wife (you heard that right I'm in a Branch), but ours is the biggest one on the Island (we have around 130-150 sacrament attendance) That will be a whole new adventure all of it's own.
There is a lot I am going to miss here in Vegas, but right now I am extremely too busy to think about it more then a minute or two. I know it will sink in soon.
This weeks To Do List
Finish Vinyl Orders
Teach an Interior Design Class
Plan My Last Sharing Time : (
Help Organize and have our Quarterly Activity
Fold 8 Loads of Laundry (I just read my friend Tami's Blog and she said Laundry is here favorite thing. She needs to rub some of that love on to me)
(These things are outside of Moving To Do List)
I have a feeling the Moving To Do List will have to wait till next week. We move in 2 WEEKS (well we are going to be all packed up and out of our house then. We really don't move our stuff out till end of May)
THIS IS MY DOWN TIME TODAY WRITING THIS --NOW I HAVE TO GET BACK TO WORK
WISH ME LUCK
P.S. Thanks Danell for coming out from Saint George to help sale my stuff. You are the BEST!

Having moved from Washington to Utah to Texas to Nevada to Washington to Utah, I can attest that a big move is like a death. You have to grieve the old, accept the situation and then move on to the new. It will be a wonderful adventure and I wish you all the luck and blessings in the world!!! I do hope that some day our paths cross again.
Oh man! I wish I lived closer to Vegas. I totally would have bought you out! You have the best taste! I can't wait to see the new place you get to design. You will have such an awesome adventure. I love your outlook. Remember to take a breather every now & then. Take care of yourself girlfriend!!
Wow, that is a big move!! I am excited for you and your family. You should look up Katie she has been living in NY for a while now. I have enjoyed catching up even if is just on the computer :)
Good luck with the move!!

Relax! Breathe! I know it sounds crazy but play with the girls for 10 minutes every hour because this will help you and them not feel so stressed. I have moved with little ones- Cody freaked out! He did not what was going on. The more stressed you are the more they will be and then the more you will be too - Crazy circle!
Good luck in your new adventure! Moving is never easy, but can be kind of exciting, too!
Hang in there- You are doing great! Change is hard, but if anyone can do it and make it look good at the same time it's you! Thanks for taking the time to update - I know you are so busy! I've been thinking about you though and wondering how it's going. Wish I was closer to help!
Good luck!!! You can do it!!!
Good luck with the move! Moving is always exciting and nerve racking at the same time. My brother Shane and his family are moving from North Carolina to NY in a few months as well. They are actually going to live in CT and Shane will commute to NY. You will love it out there. Have fun! :)
