Addison's 1st Dentist Appointment

Well Addi had her first Dentist Appointment. I will say I wasn't sure what she was going to do or how she was going to react. We got there and I have to say our office spoils the kids with a theatre room plasm TV' s everywhere and of course they are all synced together. Cartoon and disney characters are all over the walls and great toys all over the place. My children's dentist family is in our ward and they are an awesome family. Any way Alix got her cleaning first and made the Cavity Free Club and shockingly Addison did fabulous. One time I thought she was going to lose it, but didn't cry once. She too made the Cavity Free Club too. Each girl then got to spin the wheel. Alix got a glider and Addi got an eraser. They also brought home a sticker, balloon and a bag with a toothbrush, paste, floss, travel cover, tattoo's, plaque tablets, and a timer. Alix sadly last time had to get a crown and was a bit nervous, she told me when she back she didn't want any more golden (her silver crown) and she didn't want it to hurt. After she was done she smiled and said, "you were right it didn't hurt. Alix is one of the bravest little girls ever and since that visit we made sure we brushed twice a day and that is why I am so proud my kids made the Cavity Free Club, who knows maybe they will be one of the three winners for a big prize this month!

Who Can We Trust Now A Days?

So last week I had made caramel apples for my Mia Maid and Laurels class. I had put them in the refrigerator during Sacrament meeting and Sunday School. I asked one of my YW to grab the apples out of the kitchen and so our surprise found only three rather than four caramel apples. The lesson was on obedience and I made the caramel apples as an object lesson. One of the apples was an onion. I thought I was being nice to my girls and bring extra to eat. It was supposed to teach the girls how satan makes sin looks so delicious and desirable on the outside but once we sin we realize the sorrow and pain from making that choice. Having both kinds of apples represented how important it is to listen to the still small voice to help us discern from right and wrong. Any way how perfect would of that been if my robber stole the caramel onion that was dipped in Oreos and nuts, the one that looked the most delicious to me. But they took the plain caramel apple with no toppings. My YW want to make caramel onions this week and hope the robbers come back to learn a lesson.

Not only that but my friend was over the other day and I know she could hit herself and is but had her car running with doors open came in my house and by the time she got back her purse got stolen. We think is was one of my neighbors. It makes me think that you really can't trust any one now a days. We have to be prisoners in our own house with the doors locked and many times I have seen boobie tramps that my husband set up in case someone broke in our house. We are a bit paranoid at times, but I guess I rather be safe then sorry. It makes me think maybe we need to get an alarm system.

I just heard of another story last week that one of my friends near by went back to her old house to clean it with her sister in laws and they were picking weeds and came in. My friend then went upstairs and saw a man in the back yard so she yelled downstairs to her sister and told her to lock the door. The sister did, but once they got upstairs and watched this man they heard the door open. The sister didn't lock it right. Any way the man tried about ten times and break through the door. Once he realized he couldn't get in he ran downstairs and stole my friends car keys and tried to start the car. By then the police came and tazzered him and hauled him away.

I also heard that people go around with garage doors openers trying to open people doors, so make sure yours is locked a lot of the times especially when you are out of town. Sorry I am telling all these creapy stories but I figure KNOWLEDGE IS POWER and this is the way to stop things like this from happening.

It also makes me start to again think about going private on my blog for crazy reasons like these, Which is sad, but I will say I rather be safe then sorry.

What Princess Are You?

My friend Kristi had this on her blog and I thought I would take the test. If you have nothing better to do then you should do it too. Is my life getting depressing? Let's hope not. I will say this the description for Mulan fit my personality quite well I thought.

You Are Mulan!

Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

The Dell's Friday Night Slumber Party!

Last friday had to be one of the best family days of my life. We had a family sleep over down stairs we first started out making individual homemade pizza's. Alix was funny cause she kept putting pepperoni on her pizza and I kept telling her you don't like pepperoni, but she didn't care it was something fun to do and sure enough she picked off every pepperoni off her pizza when she was eating it! While the pizzas were cooking we made a party sign as well as our beds. Addison loved just playing on the mattresses. She thought that was pretty cool. Then we ate our pizza. After that we decorated sugar cookies with lots of candy and frosting (well not lots of frosting for me, but I loaded on the M&M's. Then we played hide in go seek with flash lights, TOTALLY FUN. and then dad told us some fun stories and then we finally all cuddled up and watched a movie. WHAT A BLAST we all loved it and Jon and Alix can't stop talking about it. We will definitely do it again soon!

Fairy Tale Mix-Up

Last week our family got to watch my awesome talented nieces in a play at school. It was called Fairy Tale Mix-Up. Darcy played Gretel and Kid. While Dixie played Hazelnut and a kid. They both did really good and definitely natural stars. I was so proud of them. Also Amy my sister-in-law helped out with tons of the play. She too is a natural performer and that's were the girls get it. So good job Amy to you too!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!

Well we found out Monday what we are having and from my poll 91% said I should find out and the majority of 43% said I was having a boy while 25% said I was having a girl and while the rest of you who voted twins well you were completely wrong. Because I am having ONE BABY GIRL! Whoo Hoo!!! My doctor teased Jon for having three girls, but then told me that's all he could produce too. Well actually Jon wasn't there he had a Boards prep Class that morning. We never put two to two together and Alix was so excited about going so I took on the challenge of bringing both my kids. A little hair pulling at times but it actually wasn't that bad. After finding out, I told Alix it's a Girl and she said I wanted it to be a boy and I told her that we will have to wait another time for a brother. She said let's have the boy now and have the girl come later. I told her it doesn't work that way :). I will say I really thought I was going to hear it's a boy. I just never pictured three girls in a row. My first thought was three girls all of a sudden sounds like a lot of kids. My second thought that's a lot of hair to do in the morning :). There is a lot of advantages of having a girl, and one big one is handy-downs, and that is actually a huge blessing given the situation that we are in. My sister Kris told me that and I completely agree. I won't lie but it's been like this for every pregnancy that the beginning of the pregnancy doesn't really seem real to me but when I find out the sex of the baby I start to get really excited and anxious and start to think how I love holding and taking care of newborns. For me I feel the world is going, but I don't care, cause I'm holding still. I am so grateful I have for the third time to bring a child into this world and be their mom. And I hope that I can raise righteous children who will become wonderful mothers. I will never forget the time when I was working at good old R.C. Willey's as a designer and I had a strong impression that I feel came from my mom. That is When I hold my child for the first time I will then finally understand how much my mother loves me. I believe it and I think of that often when I just look at my girls. I remember after having Alix I was watching her in her crib and crying, because I have never felt my heart so big and had no idea I could possess so much love for a little child. The thought of losing her would probably kill me and it was tested when Alix was in Primary Children's for five days and no one knew what was wrong and she wasn't getting any better. Motherhood is one of the greatest blessing you can receive. I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones. And one last thing I love the color PINK!

Alix's Artwork

Here are some more pictures of Alix's artwork. I am sure I will post more as time goes. Last week when we went to Saint George my sister had a garage sale and we made baked goods. So Cal and Alix both made 4.00 so last night I took Alix to the dollar store where she picked out four new coloring books. She was so excited and came home and immediately started coloring away.

Morning Conversations with Alix

This morning Alix walked up to me and told me her dream. She said in her words, "Mom last night I dreamed we went swimming at Cody's pools and he had two pools one with sharks in it and the other didn't have sharks in it." I asked, "Which one did you swim in?" she told me, "The one with sharks in it and they started to get me but Tanya saved me." I said, "She did?" "Yeah, and sharks were eating Kiki (Kristie) too and Kendra saved her." I said, "Well I can believe that." and my favorite Alix shouts, "YEAH, TANYA AND KENDRA ARE SUPERSTARS."

Ultra Sound

Next Monday I can find out whether or not it's a boy or a girl. I thought I was going to wait and not find out until I have the baby, but the closer it gets the more anxious I get. What should I do. Take a vote. Jon still teases me and says it's two boys. I will finally be able to keep him quiet after Monday. I never heard of Father's instinct but then again my mother instincts is totally nonexistence.

Memorial Day- Boating @ Sand Hollow Resort

At first we all thought we were nuts going boating on Monday considering the weather still wasn't the greatest. But once we got there it was wonderful. The water wasn't the greatest and I have not yet became a water snob unlike my sister Danell who goes all the time (however she did manage to freeze her butt off along with the rest of us.) Actually I never got in. I would of if I wasn't pregnant. I was first in the tube before it got wet and taking the little ones with no splashes was great for me. I was so glad Jon was able to go. He had so much fun. I haven't seen him laugh and smile so hard for a long time. He loved getting rough with the tube.

Memorial Weekend Nightmare

Sunday morning we all went to the park to feed the ducks. What I thought would be relaxing and peaceful turned out to be the kids biggest nightmare lol. The girls were completely afraid of these ducks. These ducks actually were really mean but Danell said they were the nicest they have ever been. It was funny to see Alix run and leave a trail of bread behind as the ducks would chase her. Addi held onto my leg almost the entire time. I wont lie either they scared me too. Hopefully they will forget about these ducks and want to do it again. Danell and I couldn't stop laughing. It was so hilarious. My kids really put on a show.

Memorial Weekend @ The Red Cliffs

Casandra and Brett met us in Saint George, while we all stayed at Danell & Adrian's house. The weather shockingly was rainy so rather then going boating we went hiking on Saturday. We had lots of fun hanging out with everyone.

Alix's Preschool Graduation

Don't ask me how Alix graduated from Preschool considering she probably only went less then 1/4 of the time, but I guess they pass all the kids who show up for graduation! LOL Alix not going very often still did a wonderful job at the preschool. She knew all the songs and it was darling watching her celebrate a milestone in her life. Here is Alix's cousin and friend. Don't ask me what Alix is doing. I'm wondering the same thing.

Park Day with Dad!

The kids and I are having fun with Dad's new schedule. He has a 6 weeks off from school to study for the boards, which means he is flexible with his study time. The kids loved playing with dad at the park and I love sitting back and watching them play.
