{Flying to Canada-UNEXPECTED}

These next few posts i'm not sure if I am ready to write about only because I feel like I need to be completely relaxed and calm and as of right now I am getting off my computer every 5 minutes tucking my kids back into bed for the 100th time. But yes we traveled to Vancouver Canada to see family but the soul reason was to attend to my dear late mother-in-laws funeral.  I will tell you more details and stories and tender mercies that we recieved as a family concerning her death in the next post. But this post I want to keep it upbeat with giggles cause that's what it was and it was something we ALL needed at the moment.

This was the first time we met our darling little Charlie. Amy and Zacs baby boy. He was so cute. We played with him so much and we all loved him.

Uncle Bennie was trying to get Mason warmed up to the water but it didn't happen. It was much colder than our warm beaches that's for sure, but I will say at least I feel safer in this lake then my ocean that is filled with all kinds of things we don't know about.

I decided to take a little swim with the kids.

Kristen and I jumped in together cause it was pretty cold!

Jared and I raced and guess who one.....I DID!

Second time around he was so embarrassed he didn't hold back but he barely one!

It was such a pretty scenery.

Jared being such a fun cousin made these girls mermaids. They loved it!

While Mason played in the sand all day and was very content with it.

Up by the party table little Charlie was chowing down on the whole watermelon! It was so darling!

Bennie did a fabulous job cooking the boredewoers. My favorite meat! What do you expect to eat when you are with a bunch of South Africans!

MB coming up for some watermelon!

Then cuddling with her favorite Uncle Brendan!

Here's the party gang. I guess I should of asked them to smile for the camera!

{Billy's Performance & Sister Missionaries}

All summer long Billy was busy at Camp Anchor a Day Camp for kids with disabilities of any kind. At the end of the year all the kids who participated did a performance for friends and family. We were excited that Billy invited us as friends but we basically think we are family. We love Billy and his family.

Here's Billy Shaking it with his group! He's such a rockstar!

 In between group performances they had Woody & Buzz as comedians. They were so darling and quite hilarious.

Here's Mason having fun!

As for sister missionaries. We love these ones. Well we love them all but Sister Lee and Freeze were ones to always remember! Many days did we feed them. Alix wants to be a missionary so bad. I love that we have so great missionaries here to be such great role models for her and my other kids.

Group picture!

We also loved Sister McGrath too! Before these girls transferred out they had to stop by and say goodbye. We miss these kids but I will say it's fun to see them every once in awhile during District Conference and special activities.

{Discoverying Lucifer Falls}

After settling into our new camp in Ithica this time we stayed at Truman Falls Park and headed to "Lucifer Falls for the first time"We were so happy we did this. Last time people made it sound like it was a hard hike, but it was the perfect hike for a family of my size and ages. We loved it here.

We first found a old mill and went inside of it.

 Next I took a picture of the big kids doing their thing. {I love these little people}

On to the hike!

Came to this awesome area that on the way back we decided to eat our snacks.

Look at Mason..He just found an awesome rock to throw in the river!...figures.

Alix putting on some moves!

Wow Mason look at those abs!

Happy day this was. It was so relaxing. I love coming here because everyone is in such a relaxed state and we just enjoy eachothers company!

It amazes me that this even exist here. So beautiful.

Here is Mason I finally plopped his hinny down with a pile a never ending supply of rocks with rivers running on both sides of him. HE WAS SERIOUSLY IN HEAVEN!

Next we headed up our favorite Ice-Cream stop at Purity's. This time we met up with my brand new supervisor for my new calling I have as an Online Seminary Teacher. She lives on Long Island as well, but was up here teaching for music camps  for 2 weeks so we decided to meet up for the first time.

Here is my ONline Seminary Supervisor Luella Pinelly. {I love her name} and her son Michael.

Everyone loved it again.

Mason finished it all up!

And apparently we talked too much cause this one fell a sleep. I love her she is so precious.

We then headed back to this lake and relaxed here for the rest of day.
Here's Jon jumping of the board.

Here's Alix diving off the board.

That's the last of of our Trip in July.
Sorry it took me forever to post it!
