Our little Emberlynn Shelaine is Adorable. Everyone in our family fell immediately in love with her. When she came out I couldn't help but cry and say, "you look just like my girls." I swear I feel like I am having the same baby over and over again :) I'm totally fine with that cause I think they are each beautiful and their own way.
Well the eventful day started October 23rd (on my birthday) at 10:00 pm. They gave me the petocin, but nothing was happening until 3:30 am October 24th after they broke my water. Then boy did the contractions come and boy do they hurt worse then if I had gone naturally, so I whimped out and called the anastelogist (this is what I want JOn to be, so I told the Doctor to talk him into it.) The anastelogist gave Jon a lesson or two. It was funny because before we told him that Jon was in his 3rd year of Med School the Doctor wouldn't let Jon see what he was doing then after that he practically was having Jon do it all.) Any way I'm not sure we convinced Jon but who knows.
Here I am waiting for little Emberlynn to come.
After 3 Pushes here she is. Emberlynn was born October 24th 7:45 am.
I have to tell you . . . right before delivery I started getting nervous. I was just praying that everything would go ok. Emberlynn's heart rate would go down to 98. Whereas normal is 145 for Emberlynn. To find out later we had problems with Alix's heart going down in the 40's and even stopped one time. Jon reassured me that Emberlynn would be fine and I that I don't have to worry and she was. This was the worst thing that happened everything was fantastic.
Emberlynn weigh 8 pounds even. WOW! The doctor told me she was shocked. She didn't think the baby was going to be that big. All my babies are that big though 7.9, 8.1 and now 8. The nurse who was giving Emberlynn her first bath asked him if I had Gestational Diabetes (what?) because I had a 8 pound baby. I thought 8 pounds wasn't that big of a deal. It's not and I'm not worried about it. I just thought it was funny.

Addison loves Emberlynn. However would never stay still to get a really good picture until she was placed in front of the television.
We had no problem with Alix posing for many GREAT pictures.
We had no problem with Alix posing for many GREAT pictures. Jon's oh so comfy bed. NOT! Poor guy he was so tired. Love him though cause he was a great big help. He only stayed the one night. I felt to bad for him to make him stay the other two nights with that bed. So felt bad but I told him not too cause this way he could take care of Emberlynn during the day while I slept and that's what happened. I LOVE YOU JON and Thank You for being such a wonderful Husband and Daddy. YOU'RE THE BEST!
These were the best babysitters ever. Casandra and Brett volunteered again to come down from Salt Lake and watch the girls. They were great. Thank you guys so much. I really appreciate! My girls absolutely love you both.Packing up getting ready to go. Sunday morning by the way. This is Emberlynn's scrubs that I love. Totally forgot to bring my pen to write on them. I made the other girls scrubs up top. You will see more of them when we get our pictures down this week.
WELCOME HOME Emberlynn. We love you and we are so blessed to have you in our family.
