{Bronx Zoo}

Another day we took Aunt Kiki to the famous Bronx Zoo that we love so much! The gorillas were great and they reminded us of our Aunt KIKI!  Blahh hhahaha

This gorilla was really connecting with us. Little creepy at the same time cause they are so human-like.

We also would stick out our tongue at him and he would stick out his. I have a video of it too.

Mason really loved his Aunt KIKi!

Here are some random stuff I'm going to blog in this post. Totally unrelated but we got these Heirloom tomatoes from our Neighbors and a month later another big box. They were delicious and Emberlynn discovered that she loves to pop tomatoes in her mouth and as been a fan ever sense.
 Emberlynn sadly also broke her arm.  At church on a Sunday evening while adults were having a Marriage class the kids were playing simon-says. ONe kid told them to stand on the table and another kid had a great idea to push her off. So she fell of the table and broke her arm. But Emberlynn was very forgiving and she is my first break in the family. DOES THAT SURPRISE ANYONE? NOPE

She thought she was a rock-star!

{Wicked Girls Night Out}

So the first time I brought Kristie to the NYC we had plans to see the Broadway Musical,"Wicked" It was so amazing! And I wouldn't mind at all seeing it again.  We were so proud that we got tickets so cheap too. I think around $60.00. Kristie leave a comment and tell me, but anyone who knows that is amazing price. We were 9 rows back too, which I read about for wicked tickets you want to be as close as possible so you really can see the actresses facial expressions. YES I TOTALLY AGREE. THE GOOD WITCH WAS AMAZING AND HER FACIAL EXPRESSIONS WERE AWESOME!

Kristie and I took the train down there and I loved watching her face to see NYC for the first time. She was so shocked and so excited and it got me so excited! And when she saw TIME SQUARE she was dropping her jaw left in right. I think I just stared at her the whole time rather then what was around me. I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW HER FAMILY AGAIN THIS SUMMER WHEN THEY COME OUT!

Then Kristie treated me to a sandwich at Carnegie Hall! There was of course leftovers that we snuck in to Wicked. We were very discreet about it, but there was no way I was going to through them away!

AFter the Musical we walked around somemore. I failed to snap many picutres cause both cameras were going at the same time! So here are the ones I took.
Here she is at Rockefeller Plaza!

NBC Outside Window

After walking for blocks and blocks. Here is us at the end of the day! POOPED OUT! HOwever this was nothing compared to the following daytrip to the city!

Day 2 in the City
So this was my first time visiting the 9/11 Memorial. I love this place and can't wait to bring my family. It truely is sacred ground.  For such a big day in the city I didn't want to bring my big camera so sorry these are on my half broken Iphone so pictures are not so good!

Here is one of the Freedom Tours!

Then we walked and looked around and in the Trinity Church

Then we went to the NY Stock exchange, we had free tickets to the federal Hall but didn't get back in time for our Time-slot. Oh well next time! We saw the Bull there were so many people getting pictures next to it was ridiculous so I snapped a quick one of Kristie and that's all we had time for.

Then we headed to the Statue of Liberty!

Next we did some major walking after visiting the STatue of LIberty. We walked to theBrooklyn Bridge. I don't know where my picture is. Walked through Dumbo  ate some yummy Brooklyn FActory ice-cream on the pier. Then took a ferry back to Manhattan. and found this place to rest AGAIN.

I love all the quant places in NYC

 We had to try some yummy cupcakes at Sprinkles!-But we did save them for the next day cause we were eating all kinds of treats everywhere we went!

We went to Grand Central Station and ate some Yummy Cake at Juniors!

Love Grand Central Station!

Love the Kissing Wall! Theres Kristie on the other side as I am whispering secret love messages to her {well as much as a sister can} haha.
W

Where I'm standing you whisper in this corner and it travels to the adjacent corner. While we were there a couple got engaged. Hence the reason they call it the Kissing Wall.

Walking in NYC is so much fun. So beautiful! Here the Empire State Building all lit up!

Another fabulous day with my awesome wonderful sister Kristie!

{A Wonderful Visitor}

I was so happy to find out my sister Kristie was coming to visit.  If anyone even talks about visiting me I get so excited because I long so much for visitors especially from family. My sister Kristie came out when school started without her family and it was so much fun just being with her. I am thankful to her family who probably missed her like crazy, but the nice thing is she has raised her family so well that I'm sure they didn't even miss a beat, but I'm sure they rather have mom there. So thank you Behunin Family because I sure did love seeing your mom and wife.

This was Kristies 1st visit to New York so I really wanted to show her around town.  We had planned on visiting Manhattan later on the week but we still wanted to do other things so I dragged her first to Corona, Queens.

Heres's the FAmous World Fair Tower

We walked around the globe and walked around the gardens and looped our way back here for a picnic lunch. It was such a beautiful day.

After our picnic we headed to the Queens Zoo

Then we headed over to Lemon Ice King of Corona. My favorite. My older girls are sitting here reading and looking at these pictures and so upset they didn't get to go cause they were in school.

A friendly guy offered to take our picture but I have to admit I was a little nervous he was planning on running away with my camera. Shame on me for judging cause obviously I got it back {after I tackled him to the ground..hahaha...just kidding}

These next pictures are not in order but they are in order the other days are on my phone and will post those next.
But here is what we did on Saturday. Jon was off so the whole family went and enjoyed the day around Central Park.

So we first hung our with Abe for a bit.

Then headed to the Natural History Museum.
This place was awesome! Will go again.

Stared at the Dinosaurs.

 and the elephants.

and the giraffes

We took in the Big Bang theory planetarium too.

of course we need our picture next to the pigeon. KIKI's favorite animal!

Some proof Jon was with us! Don't ask me why my 10 year needs to be pushed in a stroller :) hahaha

Here we were able to see a view of the city and central park!

I love this next picture!!!

Kristie wont admit but Jon's her favorite Brother-in-law!!

Of course we had to take our picture to this weird guy. Kristies family is so jealous right now.

Seeing how the Canadians live.

Around 1pm we were starving and tired. Well I sure was and I needed to rest and eat. Mainly cause I was so worn out from the day before which I will post next.

So here we are in Central Park.

Love this picture too.

Yes she's addicted. Since then I have put a password protected code on my phone so this doesn't happen anymore.

Took in the sailboats.

Central Park is so beautiful and Kristie came at such a great time to see it.

Next we took in the Central Park Zoo and saw the Penguins again.

KRistie is such a natural lover for children. She loves them so much and makes each one feel so special leaving none out. My kids did fight for her attention all the time. What a great Aunt she is.

Aunt Kiki while she was here wanted to buy some games for the family. She bought us Apples  to Apples {Still MBs favorite game} and Bananagrams. Thanks Kristie for making fun memorable nights while playing these games.

Also while Kiki was here. Addison lost her first tooth!!! I guess I could of Cleaned up her face before taking this picture. What can I say we were in the moment.

While Addison was washing the tooth in the sink she dropped it down the drain, so she wrote a cute note to the tooth fairy.

These have been some exciting and great days for my family.
