{Addison's Stuff}

I'm the PTA head Class mom for Addison's class. This is what we made for her Christmas party. Yeah it was pretty cool! {just ask me}

Addison is also in Daisies. Here they are signing to our Local Nursing Home. We came late cause crappy me thought it was an hour later. Good thing Jon checked the time so we only missed  a little bit. She ran in there and I was so happy we walked right in front and sang to beautifully to the Grandmas and Grandpas {as she put it}. She later got a hat to match the rest of the girls but I was really proud that it didn't bother her. She's came a long way. She used to be so shy and timid and now she is fluttering like a butterfly.

{Date Night}

So my friends have been trading babysitting so we can have date nights and temple nights. We have really enjoyed. She just had a baby so it will be while until we are switching again, but it was great getting in so many dates that my husband and I were so not used to. I miss dating my husband, so I'm so grateful the last 4 months we have been going on fun, relaxing, inexpensive date night. One we did our Christmas shopping for the girls and even wrapped all the presents, another night we hung out at Barnes and Nobles, other nights we did temple trips, hanging on the beach, ate out of a yummy burger joint called Bobbis Burgers, and another at Panera Bread. When you don't have to pay for a babysitter things are so much less stressful. Usually I'm checking the time and saying we better go or I will have to pay for another hour to the babysitter. We usually drop them off at 6:30 with the pajamas on and pick them up around 11:00 or even later at times. It's been so much fun and of course we do this for them as well. I always feel bad cause they have two kids vs. my four but it actually has been all her idea and I'm cool with going with it. The Hunters are a new family we got here and they are sticking around for 4 years. YAY-well we will be gone in a little over 2 years, but I'm happy their here.

 So one date night and maybe I would say the most exciting one was Jon purchased a Groupon for this AMAZING  SOUTH AFRICAN RESTAURANT called Madiba.

We loved it and I love how much Jon loved it. It really made me think how important it is to travel to South Africa to see where and how he grew up. It's so sad that I don't know that part of my husband, but this night I felt I got a bit of a glimpse.

I fell more in love with my husband and his country this night. We need to go back.

 This place was in Brooklyn. We got lucky and got a super close parking spot right next to it free on a friday night! YAY!

 Everything about this place was so much fun. I loved how they served the filter waters and we drinked out of a Mason Jar which I totally think I will be adapting in my everyday living. We already have in fact.

 Love this chandelier. It was so dark in there but the lighting was perfect for a little flirty romance!

These are my favorite and the sauce was to die for. REALLY.

SLAP CHIPS SO THEY call it.

Jon got oxtail soup with lamb and I got Borewoars.{Crud I don't know how to spell it anymore check out my FB for those details} So yummy.

AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT!

Here are some sunsets we enjoyed.

Temple Date Night
jon left the key in the ignition, We were looking all over for them and then I looked in the car. The door wasn't even locked. Thank goodness, but Thank goodness are car was still there.

I would love one of these house in Manhattan--if only I was a millionaire.

{Little Italy continuation}

I found some pictures on my phone I should add to another post but I didn't so here is an extension of our Chinatown, Little Italy, Lo Lita trip.

This is where we stopped for some yummy pizza.

Somewhere from moving to NY we lost Addison poodle, well we found it Chinatown. I guess it wanted to see how the Chinese live : ). I made her keep it in the bag cause it's white and NYC is filthy yuck. Alix saw a good find. Her darling pom pom hat we found in Chinatown as well. Remember folks these people like to bargain and never settle for ticket price!

I'm a sucker for trendy spots. We found this darling little cupcake place, but wow what a rip off the cupcakes tasted terrible-well dried out and way over priced for how little they were, but it was a fun experience and the kids thought it was the best place ever.

What you see is how big the space it. They bake the cupcakes at another location and they sale it in the smallest little space but cute designer space.

I'm embarrassed to tell you I paid 10.00 for this small box of cupcakes. But I will say sometimes all you need is a bite size cupcake and your all good! Too much of anything is a bad thing.

They gave the girls stickers and tattoos, so at least I got my moneys worth. LOL

They do look very impressive though.

This Bloomingdales is beautiful. I really should go in one time just to say I did and check it out cause the first time I ever heard of a Bloomingdales was when I was little watching the movie "SPLASH"

I always love going over the bridges. They never get old to me. We are on the lower deck. JOn always drives the upper so we get a better view of the City. But this is cool too.

{Christmas FHE on Skype}

This year my sister had a wonderful idea {or what is mine ; ) wink wink }just playing. I always love to steal my sisters ideas and claim them for my own. Anyway we had a FHE with them and did a christmas lesson. We both took turns sharing a lesson. It was so fun to see them and it meant so much to see them. Grandpa was also visiting them at the time, so we got see him too. What a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

{Christmas Gift Photos}

So for my children's playroom I wanted to get a picture of my girls head shot. So When the girls picture day came around I decided to save 60.00 and do it myself. Here's what I got.

I love my children. I think they are so beautiful!
P.S. All four kids were so happy to see these in frames on Christmas Day!

  Here are some more fun pictures I had to remember!

{CS Nails PhotoShoot}

My little sister while she was here did my eyelashes and we took some photos for her blog.  It was really fun. Here are some of the shots we took.

It was kind of fun. I never am on the other side of camera so it felt really weird. I'm so not a model. But check out the lashes on me. My last eyelash just fell out. I'm so sad they are all gone now. I need you Casandra to do my lashes again. They are so addicting and now I have to use some called mascara again : }

This one picture below me makes me laugh cause this is a look my sister Danell makes all the time and I didn't realize that I just made it.

Here is the BEFORE shot!

Here is the AFTER shot!
{I only have mascara on my bottom lashes}

 Here are some more lash photos

This is my favorite lash photo below!!!

{Dumbo PhotoShoot}

I had to take Casandra to see one of my favorite places...DUMBO!

 Walking and playing around was fun. Here is a million shots we took. I think I posted way too many, but I just love so many and if it's not the perfect picture it's a memory I wanted to remember.

 I loved photographing my little sister. I wanted to play a little more. There was so much going on and a million places to take photos.

We found this wall that we parked right next to and I thought her outfit went great with it.

I always love this door. I'm sure I will be taking more pictures of this door. I wanted that perfect photo where everyone is looking and to think we sat here for at least 10 minutes or more trying to get it. Little Mason can be really hard to old still so finally here he's perfect.

This family photo is framed in a large frame in my Living room above my fireplace. I edited it a little different.

I put my name on this photo even though I wasn't the one who took it. Casandra was the one who took it, so thank you so much for taking a great photo!

Here is another shot we took but I really didn't edit like I did the above one. This is one of my favorite shots!

I love these two people! What darling smiles.

One of my favorite shots too! PRICELESS!

 Addison asked me to take some photos of her.

MB had a turn too!

This picture I took is blurred but I love this grin of MB and the one above of Alix so I had to include them.

This family photo is framed in my office. I stare at it everyday!

 Thank you Casandra for taking our family photos. You did such a great job!!!!

We used this photo for my Family Christmas Card.

I want to remember this little face forever!
