Alix's Princess Birthday Party!

So this year Alix was spoiled having a wonderful birthday princess party. I have to admit I was really tired so basically I got it all together in one morning. We were so excited to have Danell, Adrian, Cal & Cade come down from Saint George & our biggest travelers were Casandra & Brett down from Layton, UT. Alix loves them all and this was the first time our family say our new baby Cade. He's darling!

DISNEY ON ICE

Well this year for Alix's Birthday we decided to go to Disney on Ice. This was the first time for all of us. I thought it was funny that they were only in town for a few days & we were lucky it landed on Alix's Birthday and more lucky that it was "Princess Wishes." I had both girls dressed up like princess. It was a blast. We all loved it

Christmas Gift

One of the Christmas gifts we bought Alix & Addi were one some (what I call) gymnastics activity mats. The girls really love them It came with two cheese mats a cylinder & a square. Jon & I love toys like these cause they allow the kids to be creative on their own & they are another big hit at my house.

Round 5

Well after Christmas Jon went back to school for another week and then had three days off so we took off again to Disneyland Round 5 I think this is. And thanks to Casandra we stayed in a great hotel for way cheap price. Thanks again Casan. We had lots of fun. We have discovered that Addison really loves Minni Mouse & so we bought her another one Sure enough she walk around all the time with it. I love buying things for the girls when they really love & appreciate it. Minnie Mouses are defiantly one of them.

Vancouver Temple

Here we are walking on the Temple Grounds in Vancouver. This is a small temple, but everyone here including ourselves are very much excited. The closest temple right now is Seattle which is a 3 hour drive. This temple is only 20 minutes from my in-laws house. We can't wait to go next time we are in Vancouver!

Christmas @ the Bellagio

Here we are making another trip to the beautiful indoor gardens at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. We love admiring the very creative designers who put this all together. This is definitely a treat for the entire family.

Christmas Preztels

Here's another way I package the Chocolate dipped pretzels. Notice the wonderful weather in Vegas. It totally doesn't look like Christmas over here.

Caramel & Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods

My favorite Caramel & Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods are fun to make. I made over 200 this year to give to friends & family. I also made some caramel too and wrapped it in parchment paper.

I attached a cardstock note saying "Believe". This is what I gave my YW's this year. We had a lesson on Leadership skills and one part of the lesson was listening. So I likened it the the Polar Express how like listening to hear the bell we need to listen to the holy spirit. Also just like Believing in Santa we need to Believe in Christ. As for the Pretzels well just enjoy them!

This year I started making my own caramel rather then just melting caramel squares (Which this years was the best ever). Next year Jon wants me to use Belgium chocolate and have it imported. I told him while thinking HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! Well I will think about it! Maybe not the importing part though. We compromise well in our relationship.
