{Thanksgiving 2013}

Alix helped me make my grandmas apple pie. and I cannot make this without thinking she's right beside me every time! I love her!

Almost done one more to go! Way to go Alix!

P.S.There's Mason and MB's art work in the background. It looks perfect and it totally brightens my day when I see it!

Nancy bought me this cute stack of blocks to decorate my house this season!

I love making Thanksgiving dinner. Its one of my favorite holiday meals to make! Here's what I made this year! Pumpkin pudding was new!

Alix made these cute name tags you see on the table for everyone.

Oh and by the way EVERything was so GOOD!

We were so sad this year no one joined us. I can't believe how many people I invited and everyone had plans which made me really happy that everyone seemed to be taken care of. So we ate on our own. But I still always love making a feast regardless who shows up as long as my family does!

I'm also thankful for the best husband in the world who is always right beside me in the kitchen helping so I guess I can't take all the credit. Who am I kidding Jon's a huge help. That's why I married him. It's one thing we love to do together and another way we spend time together sense we hardly ever go out on dates. It's the time we talk, in fact thinking about it more, it's the best time spent!

I love that my girls love eachother so much!

This is new this year. Every night before we went to bed we said out Thankfuls and wrote them down and hung them on our tree. It looks so beautiful.

Here's a few things we are thankful for!

And before bed horse play in the living room!

{Addison is Seven}

Addison turned 7 years old in the end of November and for her Birthday we took her to see the movie Frozen and boy was that a big hit. So we had to buy her some frozen toys.

But the only thing she wanted was a jump rope! and well she got and she was so excited for it!

Grandpa got her some Frozen Make-up she found on amazon so she was so surprised she got it!

I made her a frozen ice-cream grasshopper mint oreo cake. I even got the Mint oreos!!! She and everyone including myself loved it! and yes I'm tooting my own horn.

Happy Birthday Addison!
 Some things that I love about you is how much love you have for others. You have taken it on you to care for Mason. Which makes me think you are going to be the best mom ever. YOu are such a big helper.
~I love when you wake up you just get ready and when you get home you get right on your homework.
 ~There not much I need to tell you what to do.
~I love that your favorite color is still pink but this year you added the color purple to your list.
~I love that you are starting to grow your testimony of the gospel and build your relationship with your Heavenly FAther and Jesus Christ.
~You love church and FHE. You LOVE to always conduct our FHE song too. You are a star in my eyes. You are smart you do so well in school, but you would never brag about it, that's just not you.
~I love that you tell everyone that you are  Mommies LIttle Girl.

Happy Birthday Addison and I hope your wish came true cause mine did!

{Piggy Back Rides}

This is how we do piggy back rides in my family!
I'll cherish these picture forever!
I love them so much.

{Family Portraits}

I had Rachel take my pictures a week later. Our pictures are so fun and just like always there's always one kid doing something that makes you say...."Really?" and then when all of the kids are great THAN its mom or dad who messes up the picture! Maybe I really need to learn how to photoshop peoples faces in I tired one time but it wasn't taking more than 1 minutes so I lost my patients :-). So hear are all my hiccup shots but overall they are all so adorable I think even the ones when they are not perfect. We had just woke up Mason to take this shot and we wish we woke him up 20 minutes earlier so he could get out of his I'm tired and still haven't woken up yet.

Alix and Jon poses for me while I was setting up the camera! Alix you make me laugh!

And here is the shot I put on the Christmas Card!

Here one of my other favorites! Mom being crazy trying to get Mason to smile while the girls are thinking probably..."mom your crazy, but I love you"

Mason and mom wasn't doing too hot in this picture.

I love this one but Alix looks a little to excited!!!

Here some more!

Jon sweeping me off my feet!

{A not so Scary Halloween}

I love Halloween more to celebrate the harvest, not so much the scary stuff. I love the colors boy do I. I love the excitement of celebration and the need to always want to be outside and smell the fresh air. Such a great time of year. So here's what we did. While the kids were in school Mason and MB helped me with the some yummy food. They were so proud of their veggie pumpkin.

Then they helped me set the table for the party that night.

Then we got into our real costumes, cause we love being just about everything that day. Mason decided on the Lion that was way too small but we made it work and his legs look like shorts!

Here's a happy messy lion. I really need to clean his face more.

Then Alix's friend Bekah came over to trick-or-treat with us. Here we do this right when schools out during the day. No kids are doing it at night. Which at first I thought was a weird tradition has become my favorite. The disadvantage to that is the men are working so they don't get to take them :-(.  BUT THIS YEAR JON WAS ABLE TO BE HERE, BARELY but he was able.

Here's the party crowd.

Here's me and Christy and yes I had to dress up at a cute witch! Perhaps WICKED inspired me!

Addison wore her Grandmas costume this year. {Jon's mom} Jon's grandma made it for his mom. I think she looks adorable!

And while we are out we of course need to Trick-or-Treat our Lovely Nancy's house. She's only a 10 minute walk if that!

I love this shot with Nancy and Christy they are my two favorite people here on Long Island.

We found this snail on her porch!

I love this shot of Mason too! He has both a snickers bar & a lollipop {a east coast or at least a NY term that I'm finally getting used to saying rather than a sucker. I can't believe how many weird looks I get when I say sucker out here}

Let's just say..... HE'S IN HEAVEN!

Now for the party! Nancy came on over for some chili and other goodies. She brought home some food for David cause he was at work.

Homemade Goodies!

MUMMY HOTDOGS that of course I take a picture of the junky ones I did. hahahaha!
