{USA SEVENS WORLD RUGBY TOURNAMENT}

Feb. 13th was the USA's Seven World Rugby Tournament. There are only a hand full of these tournaments in the World in this is the USA's second time hosting the event. Last year it was in San Diego. This year was in our HOMETOWN LAS VEGAS, NV. Jon was so so excited when he heard about it. Seven a sides is his favorite kind of rugby too. Anyway I have never really watched a lot of rugby especially professional rugby so I was SO EXCITED WHEN I FOUND OUT JON WAS TAKING ME THERE!!!!!!!!.

We had such awesome seats too. We bought our tickets off craigslist paid way less for them and got great seats. The best was we sat next to tons of SOUTH AFRICANS. I will say this day I wish I was one. They were so much fun to talk to, sit with, and to laugh with. We all acted like best friends.

Okay I kept telling Jon "if you told me there were hotty's on the SA team I would have been watching ages ago."

What can I say . . .

Oh one more thing. The jersey I am wearing is the one I posted about this last summer. It was worn my 2 different Professional Rugby Player. Peterson-SA & Vaha USA. Everywhere I walked in this stadium people would stop me and ask me wear I got it cause you can't get these jerseys anywhere. I felt so cool. All the SA rugby jerseys are green and very few are white, so my blue one is rare. I felt like I could of stripped it off for $1000 bucks. I did have a undershirt on so don't get too excited. Oh Jon was pretty jealous cause it was his jersey not mine.

Feb. 21st is such an exciting day!!!!!

Isn't it funny that both my in-laws in my parents shared the same anniversary date? I think it is!

{My Daddy-O}

My dad came down to Vegas to stay with us for a few days. It was so nice to have him here. It was so nice to take 3 walks a day and just talk about life in general. I absolutely love my dad. He is such a great example to me. I love that he takes care of me and is always checking up on me. I love his stories that he tells me even when it's the 100th time he told me. He is just so entertaining and gets so into his stories. I swear he is the best story teller of all times. One of my greatest attributes of my dad is-- his easiness to forgive. Growing up if ever I stepped out of line and got in trouble he would always without fail come to my room and say sorry (it wasn't even his fault). He would tell me he loved me and that he was very proud of me and always leave me a big loud kiss on the cheek. He has such a tender heart. I love that he as a great love for the gospel. The entire time he was here he had a church book in his hand and was discussing church topics. Both my parents would read the scriptures all the time, in fact I felt that's all my mother would do seriously she kept a BOM in the car and would read for hours during the day. I would generally find my dad in the morning reading his as well as in the evening. I know this is a bit funny but that meant so much to me and I know this is the reason why I love reading my scriptures so much because I saw my parents read them.

These are just a few things why I love my dad so much- just a small few!

Anyway I'm not sure he'll be back cause he got a terrible cold from one of my little ones. It was also very rainy while he was here which was actually really fun cause we heard some loud thunder and saw some spooky lighting.

HERE'S WHAT WE DID ONE DAY!

Boulder City Train

If I were to rate this train out of 5 stars I would give the entire experience a 3- only cause my dad was there, and the train was totally cool. The ride was a joke. I believe it took us 3 miles west then 3 miles back. The tracks ran along the side of the highway. But it's was a big entertaining to be on a the cool train. I loved that. Just thought it was going to take me somewhere cool. If you go --go during the Christmas season or make sure you print off the coupon off the website.

After the train ride we drove to Hoover Dam. It's fun seeing the new bridge going up. It's absolutely amazing construction. It's neat when you are really close too. It's so huge!!!

{MORMON MYTHS & REALITY}

{No More Training Wheels}

Alix one day asked her dad if he could take off her training wheels. I wont lie I was a bit nervous about it. So I took her out for 10 -15 minutes. My back was so killing me and I told her I needed a bit of a rest. The next day I heard Jon was taking her out and within minutes she ran in and told me she could do it by herself. I grabbed my camera and here is the footage. She will tell you she learned it in one day.

When my dad was out here last week we would go on walks and bring her along. The walks just were not as relaxing having her along. I think she both gave us heart attacks. I am so excited for her and you will see she is so thrilled. This experienced taught me lot about Faith and Trust of a 6 year old. I am ashamed to admit that when I was helping her I thought it was going to take a very very long time before she was going to learn how to ride a bike. With Faith of a 6 year year old she proved me wrong and I'm glad she did!

{My Comic Relief for the Day!}

One night after getting Emberlynn out of the Bath, lathered up in cream, pajamas on and everything I heard Alix scream "MOM- come quick" Well I didn't come fast enough before I found Emberlynn like this. I couldn't stop laughing. I always take the girls out of the bath youngest to oldest, so while Alix was still bathing. I was getting Addison ready for bed and Emberlynn was sneaking back in the tub. Emberlynn thought is was great until I told her she had to get out. I had know idea those pajamas could hold so much water : )

{It Happened 6 Years Ago}

Well Alix has been 6 for quite some time now. I am just now blogging about it. For some reason 6 seems really old to me. Age 5 was fine, but I feel like age 6 they are starting to slip out of my hands and become more mature and independent. I just hope that I am teaching her everything she needs to know before it's too late. I love Alix and even though I enjoy watching every milestone of hers I cherish her younger years as well.

One thing is for sure that the moment Alix enter this life she came with a distinct personality. She naturally has a genuine love for others, and a love for the gospel. At times I feel like I'm supposed to be teaching her not the other way around. I especially love watching her listen as we read the Book of Mormon at night. The scriptures interest her. She tells me that on her 7th Birthday she wants a "Jesus Party" where all her friends come over and watch "Testaments" together. She always informs me that the Jesus parts are her favorite parts in the movie. I also love listening to her prayers. If you thought mine were long know this - I think hers are longer!

Alix I hope when you are older you will find and read this. I want you to know that I love you and I think you are a very special child. There is no one on this earth that is quite like you. There is not a day that goes by that I don't find myself smiling because I am so in love with you. I am so grateful God sent me you. I could have never asked for a sweeter spirit. I am so proud of you. You know what is right and you always seem to make the right choice. I have know doubt in my mind that you will continue making me proud and continue smiling. Know that I love you and will always be there when you need me.

For Alix's 6th Birthday we headed to her favorite place Red Robin where they gave her a free meal and dessert for her Birthday. We opened her presents there too. We all had fun!
