{Spring Happenings}

We love the zoo in the spring too! Here's us with our old but first neighbors here in New York. We miss them so much.

Also this year we did something NEW and DIFFERENT to us that is we celebrated the PASSOVER! Such a great week we had as we reflected  on the Savior during the Easter Holiday. Thanks to my sister for printing me off a great packet that made it all happen. We learned so much!

Here's some food we had. The kids loved the fish not so much the dates, but my friend who's a Greek Orthodox said they are yummy cold and a smear of PB on them and he was right!

We washed our hands at the table too cause thats what they did. I loved that I got to use this Batik tablecloth my father-in -law bought be in Indonesia.  It looked like something you can get in Israel.
:-)

We also celebrated Easter with our the Village of Lynbrook.

Mason had no idea what to do. This is how many he got at the end of the race... hahaha.

 An older girl saw Mason's basket and gave her some. I thought that was sweet. One thing I didn't like is they split them all up and ages and all my kids were in different races and they started them all at the same time. So I stayed with Mason and Jon stayed with MB and we let the older kids finn for themselves.

We all joined up to see the Easter Bunny though!

Mason was really brave I couldn't believe Mason sat on his lap.

The kids found {well Addison} the bunny costume from the Halloween costumes box and played the Easter Bunny for the entire day.

MB sorting her eggs after Addison's hunt!

{Mason Turns Three 4-14-14}

We woke up and things the house was decorated for Mason to know that is was a Party day for him. It was nice cause there was no school so we all got to party the day away.

Mason loves Ben-10 So this is his Ben-10 party colors!

We went to Brooklyns Discover Zoo for his birthday since he loves the animals. Christy and her daughter came with us too.

These two are best friends

We stopped and looked at the cute little turtles this day.

and funny looking groundhogs...

and I'm telling you their were so funny looking birds that hatched too. This was a strange zoo :-).

Brooklyn is huge but and this part we never been before. It was really cool.

Pretty Fancy Public Library...

When we got home Nancy greeted us and Mason with presents!

Perfect gift for a perfect boy who loves to roar!

They were all so excited as you can see. I love Mason's face!! Thanks Nancy!

Next we waited for daddy to come home and he did the party got more exciting!

He got an imaginary Castle that was totally awesome!

And a bunch of Ben 10 stuff and 2 large Transformers

Alix is always so thoughtful and unselfish. Here she earned this prize at school for reading and she picked out a prize just for Mason for his Birthday. She seriously does this every time.  I don't ever think she picks a prize for herself. Such a sweet girl who knows how to care for others.

And this present was the start of a new phase in his life.....the Spider Man obsession phase!

Next it was Cake time! Ben 10 time

 Happy Birthday Mason!

And here are the proud parents of this little 3 year old!

I love my kisses from this little one!!!

{More Happenings}

Alix started the Harry Potter series and reads them super fast. I made her slow down and stop at Book 4 cause I heard they were a bit scary. I then had her wait till summer and in the summer she finished the rest. Each book took her a week to read. So proud of her before Harry Potter we were trying to get her to read Junnie B. Jones, but thanks to JK Rowlin my daughter found a love for reading. Thank  you!

Addison lost her first front tooth in March!!!!

My nephew got his call to Argentina! So excited for him. We skyped in to hear the big announcement.

Some family saying Hello to us!! Hi Milly!

Jon starting his new Yoga class! Oh wait this is what Emberlynn's been learning in PreSchool. She's teaching everyone Yoga. They do it every Friday!

Check out Mason's Child Pose. I think that's pretty fitting!

Haven't seen this pose before but yeah looks like fun!

I used to have two bed for these kids we decided to take one out and give the kids more space cause this is how you see them every night. They are best of buds.
