Happy Birthday Niki!

Niki's Birthday was on the 17th, so I decided to make her lunch and eat it the park. It was a lot of fun. We had chocolate cupcakes that were really yummy as you can see Addison after she finished her cupcake:)

Something to Brag About!

For Enrichment our Relief Society put on a totally awesome Service Auction Dinner. They first started us out eating the very yummy salad from Olive Garden along with some type of italian breaded chicken, a yummy jell-o cookie fruit salad and to top it off with a R.S. Birthday Cake. The best part other than the food of course was the Service Auction. The sisters would get points throughout the month if they did their visiting teaching, or brought their scriptures to church. When we got there we also filled out a questionnaire that gave us more serviced points, and this is where most people really shined. Any way a racked up quite a few and decided to spend my Service points on a Gourmet Dinner given by the awesome Chef David Brooks and his wife Brandy. Being pregnant and all I was tired of going out to fast food every night or eating junky meals cause I wasn't feeling up to cooking.

For starters we had a soup for appetizers.

Then we had a yummy salad sorry the picture came out blurry. In it was almonds, strawberries tossed with spring vegetables.

The main course we had an artichoke and chicken pizza! YUMMY!

Dessert we had a DELICIOUS Baked Apple with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

And I am proud to say with a fight I won the prize and here is what I got. Thank you Bro. & Sis. Brooks is was FABULOUS!

Bye Bye, Disneyland!

A Few more pictures!

Last Round @ Disneyland

Well like you know I am playing catch up with my posting, cause the truth I haven't been feeling up to it so end of March JOn had his Spring Break so we took our very last Disneyland Trip. We were so sad, but had a blast being about to go to Disneyland for a year and only twice having to pay for a hotel. We were so lucky to stay at family beach houses or we had free Marriott hotels vouchers off our Credit Card the only good use for one that is. Alix still says in her prayers, bless that we can pack our bags and go to Disneyland in the morning. Really cute, but she definitely got spoiled with our quick weekend getaways. We are very excited to go back to California and go to the beach cause every time we were there we felt like we had to spend all our time at Disneyland to get our moneys worth even though we got our moneys worth the first two visits. Any way here we are in our last hurrah!

EXAM BLOCK WEEK

Every two months or so Jon has what's called Exam Block Week. It's were he has exams all week long and we really don't see him much that week or the week before. After two days into Exam Block Alix was getting so mad that Jon was leaving before she woke up. You see she absolutely loves her mornings with her dad. It's tradition they wake up and eat breakfast together and read books or watch television together. Alix loves this and refuses to have me get up and do that. Jon loves that Alix loves her mornings with her dad so much he always tells me to lay back down and he'll get up. Unfortunately this means Jon never gets to sleep past 7am. So back to what I was saying early Alix was getting really mad and upset that Jon had left with out having their morning ritual. So we would have to get on ichat and have a video conference and talk about how horrible daddy was for leaving. This really hurt Jon's feelings so during his busy schedule during Exam Blocks Jon took some time off to make this movie for the girls to watch when they woke up. This book is one of our favorites thanks to The Behunin Family who gave it to Addison for her Birthday. Jon doesn't know that I am posting this video so let's see how long it will stay on my blog. I figure he never checks anyones blogs anyway unless I tell him too. If you are reading this Jon. I love you and your the best daddy ever! P.S. It may be better to scroll down my blog and turn off the back ground music so you can hear the video better.

Check out my Slide Show!

So if you haven't noticed my Baby Ticker on the right side of my blog here it is I'M PREGNANT! WHOO HOOO! I am actually really sick and sick in tired of it too. I feel really bad for my family who has to suffer as much as I do, cause I don't have the energy or power to get up and clean cook or play. Luckily I have a understanding family and more importantly a wonderful husband who has been cooking the meals doing the laundry, the dishes, putting the kids to bed and bathed. and still finding time to make me ginger cookies, toast in the morning, going to the store and buying me drinks, and high protein bars. What a babe. I know you are all jealous. I can't help but think my father-in-law for raising such a sweet son by showing him by example by the way he cares for his love of his life. Thanks Dad!!!!!!! Any way don't forget to check out my poll and vote to see what you might think it is. I don't know I've never been this sick with my other two, even though I was really sick not this bad, so I'm leaning that I might have a boy! WHAT DO YOU THINK? TELL ME ON MY POLL. Oh and by the way, My Due Date lands smack on my Birthday, October 23rd! Can't wait. Oh I also wanted to thank my awesome friends, Niki, Stacia, & Melissa, who have been watching my kids and bringing over dinners just because. You guys are life savers and it humbles me that I have friends that really do care about me!

Easter Morning

Here we all are Easter Morning. The weather was great and so was the candy. The girls got new dresses and sweaters with some bubbles and yummys. And to top it off they got Enchanted the movie. The girls loved looking for the eggs in the morning and while they were hunting I was in the Kitchen making my mom's favorite breakfast Eggs Benedict. I would post a recipe; however, just like my mom gave to my sister and my sister gave to me. There really isn't one. Well I guess I can make one up but I'm sure I make it somewhat different every time, but every time it turns out GREAT! I love my mom's Eggs Benedict.

Easter Eggs

Here we are dying Easter Eggs. I wont lie I was really nervous with Addison. She was so excited and wasn't sure she knew what she was doing but tossing the eggs in the dye or throwing them on the table cost us four eggs. Oh well she enjoyed eating every single one of them. What a fun evening.
