3rd Annual Gumdrop Tree Making

Well this is my 3rd Annual Gumdrop Tree Making Celebration. This year I invited a great friend Niki and her kids over to play while we had fun. This is an idea I got from Martha when she was young in one of her holiday books. Immediately when I saw I knew it had to be one of my new Traditions. I love it and they look fabulous for our Christmas Eve party. I usually make 2 for myself, but I figure we will be in Vancouver for Christmas & I will have to splurge and make another one up there. It's also fun to make patterns with the gumdrops. I bought the tree foam at Michael's reg. 14.99 and then the gumdrops I bought 8 bags and that was the perfect amount for both Niki's and mine.

Yes, I used toothpicks. It's fun and really easy. I bought the foam trees at Michael's. You might want to look after christmas for clearance ones cause they are a bit pricey, but once you have them you can reuse them every year!

This is really really cute Andie! I'll have to try that next year.. easier (and cheaper) than a gingerbread house and the turnout it cuter.
Hey, did you ever watch the dvd I made you from CA? Did you like it? You can tell I got a little burned out with editing towards the end. :) Are you guys doing great?!

We did it this year because the kids liked it last year. Fun times.
