We blessed her in Casandra's house because that is where we were staying that night. We had a short program where Jon explained that we named Emberlynn after his late sister who died three days after birth and of course knowing me I had to share my thoughts on how lucky I am to have Emberlynn in our family and how very blessed I am having my mother's example and all of my sisters examples to really teach me what a true mother is. I am one lucky mother.
Here is Emberlynn after the blessing. I love her smile here.
This is my oldest sister Kristie who made Emberlynn's Blessing blanket. She has done this for each one of my kids and it's a priceless keepsake I hope each of my children keep and bless their babies in when they have them. Thank you again Kristie for her blanket. It's beautiful and means so much to me.

Me and My Daddy-O

I still want to kick Tanya in the rear end because I kept telling her to get in front but she thought it was so funny to pop her head behind mine. That is so Tanya for you. I love you Tanya! Everyone in my family was able to attend but Danell and her family (we know you wanted to be there). My brother Wayne also tried but there were not flights that allowed him to make it on time, but thank you for trying. Also Thank you so much Casandra for hosting the blessing at your house. You are wonderful :)

WE LOVE YOU EMBERLYNN
THANK YOU FOR COMING TO OUR HOME!

I love that picture of Emberlynn smiling. What a great picture!
Great photos! We wish we could have been there, what a great day! We love you baby Emmy!!
It was so fun. I am gald that I was finally there for one of your beautiful baby's blessing. I am glad that you love the blanket. When I make them my hope is that they will feel the love I have in for each of them when I make them. I feel bad that mom is not there to spoil each of your babies with love. So, my hope is that each of them know how much Grandma loves them. When Tanya was pregnant with Kendra, I was feeling bad that mom was not there. Anyway I had a thought that I believe was from mom to make them a blanket that you would treasure. I know that nothing I can do will ever replace not having mom there but I want you to know how much I do love your children.
