I found a message on my phone one morning from my niece Darcy telling me they were in NY at the Statue of Liberty and that they wanted to meet for lunch somewhere. Supposable they had a layover on their flight and thought they would hang out for a few hours. So since you don't get any reception when you are on the ferry it was basically impossible to get a hold of them until hours later. in the mean time i took Alix out of school and started to head to the city. Finally after getting a hold of them it was perfect time to meet at the Central Park Zoo. it seriously was perfect timing!
So with such an unexpected visit you can image the tears i had when i saw everyone. i couldn't stop i was completely overjoyed. i can't believe how fast these kids grow up. We figured it had been a year since i had seen Amy and almost 2 years since i had seen the kids. Since they moved 9 months before we left Vegas to Seattle (there new found love).
So we meet at Central Park to play a bit. i got everyone in with my zoo membership.
We were all entertained with Dillon. Man do i love that little boy!
Of course i cried again when i saw these two back together. Their friendship is so effortless. i couldn't believe how big Denim is and this time with short hair. She donated her gorgeous hair to locks of love. There will be one lucky girl who gets her hair!
Darcy and Dixie where the two who shocked me the most. They are beautiful young women. Wow! Watch out Boys!
This picture is so random but i had to include it cause whenever i was with Amy she always has to take my babies and hold them. i think it's adorable and sure enough had to hold little Mason.
MOVING ON!
We headed over to the Toy Store afterwards since it's really close and they needed to get on the plane soon. Here are all the kids minus little sleeping Mason who was attached to me. Poor kid misses out on pictures cause he's attached to me all the time.
This is what i am going to buy the girls for Christmas this year.
Yeah right check out the price of this beauty.

Posing for a picture
Playing on the Piano. MB weighed enough this time to actually make the keys light up.
We sadly said our goodbyes as they ran to the Subway in hopes to make it on their flight. i was so grateful they changed their flight so they could spend the day with us.
it made me realize how sad i am to be so far away and how i would love to see the rest of them.
On the way home we saw this . . . .
The church is doing a multi-million dollar ad campaing in NYC throughout the summer. With their new slogan and website. i am a mormon. Check out the website if you haven't already.
On the way home in the City i saw this. i took it in my car, so it's a bit blurry. i just thought it was cool. This September will be the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
Thanks to the Dittbrenner's who brought a smile then tears then more smiles then more tears to my eyes. i can't thank you enough what that meant to me!
