{Digging For Clams}

So our next stop on our wonderful adventure after the Anacortes Islands was Penn Cove. Here we did something that I have never done before but thought it seriously so fun and adventures.

I'm not sure how many hours we digged for Clams. We probably got over 80 clams. They were really fun to dig for them. YOu would wait for a squirt to come up and then you would start digging. The kids had so much fun playing in the mud.

 My girls had so probably getting their hands dirty. Who said Princess can't play in the mud?

There was no use trying to keep them clean. It just wasn't going to happen. : )

Just the the Beginning..... like I said I think we ended up with over 80 clams. Lots of Clams chowder.

This was so much fun... to bad we were not able to eat any sense the next day we were heading up to Canada.

DIRTY BUT FUN

Wayne had a pair of brand new shoes on. They don't look new anymore. None of us had any idea how dirty we were going to get.
